    He was born in 1980 in la paz, Bolivia. He moved to Los Angeles California, He was a teacher of mathematics in the United States, he was one of the best teachers. He teach mathematics in Garfield high school. He stared an math program with the small group of students. He did a test in calculus, and all guys of the group passed. But they cheating. And repeat the test again and again all of them passed. And was very good student and all of them are engineers, architect etc. Jaime Escalante received many awards, Jay Mathew wrote a book about him. And, there a movie about his success. In 1998 moved back to Bolivia. He died 3 years ago.

    In the nineteen seventy – four, Mr. Escalante was hired at Garfield high School to teach mathematics.
    Jaime Escalante’s student were mostly Mexican –American from a Spanish – speaking .
    Advance placement is a program of college – level class wes and thesis. In nineteen –two , eighteen of his student teach the advance placement test in calculus. Day all passed.
    Twelve of the student repeated the test.
    Mr. Escalante´s student went on the become engineers, science and university teach

    He lived in La Paz Bolivia, Jaime Escalante and his wife Fabiola came to the United States. His students were mostly Mexican-Americans from a Spanish speaking area of the city.
    He told his students that he believe in them. Escalante started an advance math program with a small group of students. All his students passed.
    Escalante´s students went on to become engineer, scientists.
